Who We Are

Foundation (CFF) is a non-profit organization founded by NBA player and liver disease awareness advocate, DeMarre Carroll, focusing on educating and raising funds towards developing enhanced preventives, diagnostic services and treatments for adolescents suffering from pediatric liver disease or disorders.

Demarre's Journey

DeMarre's Journey DeMarre Carroll is an American Basketball player for the Toronto Raptors. At age 21 DeMarre was diagnosed with Liver Disease a few weeks prior the official 2009 NBA draft, he was set to enter. Having this life threatening scare wakened DeMarre to learn more about his disease, ways to sustain a long life, and methods to maintain good health. As a young athlete, DeMarre was encouraged to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including nutritional adjustments, physical exercise and day-to-day monitoring of his disease. Now, at age 29, and being a starting player for the Atlanta Hawks, DeMarre has launched the Carroll Family Foundation to provide resources and be a mentor for youth dealing with similar diseases by showing them we believe in them and their future.
